Week 10 (Silent Letters و ا ل ى )

Rule 4: Hamzah appears in different forms in the Quran.

RULE 5: Whenever Hamzatul Wasl ٱ‎ comes between two words, it will not be recited. It acts like a glue and joins the letter before and after it.

Since we have only one day of class this week, I will be assigning 3 days of homework.

Overview Week 9

This week we introduced the rules of Iqlaab.

Lesson Summary:

* The rule of Iqlaab applies when the Noon Sakinah or Tanween is followed by the letter Baa
* In Iqlaab the sound of Noon changes to Meem along with a stretch of two harakah for Ghunnah
* There is a small م sign before the letter ب which indicates it should be recited as a Meem

* Sunday: Send the recitation of the following sheet
* Monday: Find 3 words of Iqlaab in the Quran on paper along with the page# and verse #. Send a picture to the group
* Tuesday: Word by word (not letter by letter) recitation of Surah Mulk v 27, 28, 29, 30
* Wednesday: Repeat

Training Session 9

Lesson covered:

🌺 Covered the attributes of letters. Intrinsic attributes is part of the letter and can’t be influenced by external factor for example the heavy letters due to the attribute of isti’la they are alway recited heavy ( خ ص‌ض‌‌ غ ط ق ظ) some other intrinsic attributes are ( istifaal, itbaq, infitaah, leen, qalqalah and ghunna)
🌺 Covered and Practiced all the attributes mentioned above except ghunna which will be covered next week iA
🌺On Friday we recited surah Qaf in a circle close to the masjid to practice the newly learnt attribute of qalqalah

Alhumdolillah, the girls are progressing well. Each and everyone of these girls have their own learning capacity along with other struggles and commitments but I can see the effort and their progress mA. May Allah bless them and their parents and be Quran their intercessor on the day of judgement iA.

Week 9 Overview

Ramadan Mubarak everyone!!!
Hoping this will find you well inshallah.

Mashallah child(ren) helped me to decorate the class and make a deeds jar where they will be writing their deeds on a popsicle stick every week Inshallah.

Week 9 (Silent Letters و ا ل ى )
This week, we reviewed last week’s silent rules also, a new rule.

Rule 3: The letter Wow becomes silent when there’s a standing Alif on top of it. The letter before Wow is stretched for 2 harakahs count. E.g. صَلَوٰتَكَ is pronounced as صَلاتَکَ

On Friday we started reading from the Quran everyone took turns and read 2 ayahs. Inshallah, we will continue to read from the Quran.

⭐ Shadda
When a letter has Shadda we follow 2 steps.
Step 1: Connect it to the previous letter’s harakah and read it with a sukoon.Step 2: Read the letter with its own harakah.
⭐ Recitation of short words with Shadda

Message of the Quran

🌸We talked about the importance of the blessed month of Ramadan and why Allah wants us to fast.
🌸We also discussed our goals for this Ramadan. Masha Allah all our children have high spirit and aim to fast the entire month. Insha Allah!

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌۭ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةًۭ طَيِّبَةًۭ ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٩٧
Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely bless them with a pure life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds.
